[What is this thread?]
I though I'd make this thread since Victor is busy a lot of the time, and I thought it would help him out. Simply choose which one you would prefer to participate in.

Victor if you have any objections to this, please tell me and I'll remove the post! Otherwise, happy voting.

[Dates and Schedule]

This poll will go on until June 1st. After that we'll use the data to determine what the summer event will be.

After this poll is complete, in June we'll hold a one week registration thread for the event. It will last from June 1st to June 7th. On June 8th, we'll take all participants and randomly pair them up accordingly. We will release the lineup on June 10th.

[What If's...]

If the clan event is a League, matches may begin on June 11th, and they won't be scheduled. You'll have to organize them among yourselves and you will have until July 1st to fight every other team. If you happen to not fight a team, you will receive no penalty, but you won't get credit for that match either. I will post official rules for the League below this paragraph.


-If you encounter a Team you haven't yet fought, fight.
-Both parties should record their fight.
-Rounds: 10
-Round Time: 5 Minutes
-Friendly Fire: OFF
-Players: 4
-Map: Player's Choice (As long as all players agree, or are apathetic about it, it's okay.)
-Voice Chat: UNDECIDED
-Tie Break: NO
-Ego: PROHIBITED (Automatic disqualification, and ejection from the league.)
-Medding: PROHIBITED (Automatic disqualification, and ejection from the league.)
-Flashbangs/Smoke Grenades: Player's Choice (As long as all players agree, or are apathetic about it, it's okay.)
-Rematches: NO (Please do not try to falsify a match. Cheating is no fun and defeats the purpose of this competition.)
-Glitch/Bug Abuse: PROHIBITED (Automatic disqualification, and ejection from the league.) Ex. Ninja/Shadow Step: Pressing f12 to purposefully force crippled performance to your processor and cause pseudo-teleportation in the game.






If the clan event is a Tournament, matches may begin as soon as late June (the last week of June), but more likely, early July depending on peoples schedules. If worst comes to worst, we may play this out like I explained the league up there, and do the fights on seperate dates.

Anyway, Looks good. Tournament would only work if it was an even number of teams anyway so it'd probably be a league.

I'd still prefer it to be on the same day if we can manage that though, more fun that way ya know?

Maybe have a set day to have everybody get online and teams that couldn't participate could schedule appointments with other teams the subsequent days?

Also. I still like it when the maps are randomized. Switches things up a bit.

Biggest problem with that for a league though, is the fact that we won't be able to manage the rosters and stuff, I guess we can set guidelines for days of the month. Like:

Mondays=Mansion,
Tuesday=Town,
Wednesday=Prison,
Thursday=Island,
Friday=Battle Arena,
Saturday=Station,
Sunday=Factory,

or we could set a different map for each date, and make them refer to the forum to find out what map to play on, although I like letting the players decide where they play for a league. In a real league, professional players play at one of the hometeam's stadiums right? I'm not a sports person so I could be wrong but it just seems right. Random is really a tourney thing.

Please give input on this thought.

I like Heero's idea, having certain days/dates equal to a specific map.

Personally I don't like involving maps that have med kits on them at all though, mostly because people running in to the meds on accident is sometimes unpreventable which makes me QQ and rage quit. The only problem with that is it limits the maps to a very small number, BUT

I don't really care any way that the maps are set up works for me.

I think we need to get more people in the clan involved with this. We should really tell people to check out the forum more often and make it more known that we have a forum. For people such as Kristy, who probably don't even know what a forum is -_- (Yes I am calling her that dense).

We need to make sure clan members are aware that there IS an active poll and we can't do anything if they don't tell us what they want to do D: .

So the question remains, WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO FOR SUMMER EVENT!?

Lol I think the league is a great idea since it worked so well when I first tried it. Not to mention that it'll be easier to schedule and keep track of league dates and outcomes considering our schedules.

I would want for nothing more than for this to happen, but it seems we're always too inactive and short on people for stuff like this. We have random moments of people being active at different times, because everyone's so busy, and what-not.

I don't remember the last time we were legitimately busy, and by we I'm mainly refering to myself, you, and Demi. Slash can never make it to these events because of his girl, I haven't talked to Graeter so I don't know what his deal is. Slinky is always mysterious but she's probably the most 'busy' Lol. I think our run of gunz is over, sadly. Gonna have to get used to playing alone I suppose ;\ Or not play at all, like the rest.

Honestly the people whom I'd love to see online most would probably be Xin, Charna, and Slinky since I haven't seen them on Gunz in forever :S. I dunno though, I think I'm pretty much done with gunz for a little while again, until something big happens.

I haven't been home most of this month, Heero LOL. I'm also not gonna be here from the 21st - 25th/26th. I'll always have the laptop on me though. So I'll be able to talk and what-not on xfire/msn.

When it comes to everyone else, I don't think Charna's net can support GunZ right now, I'm almost 100% sure Slinky is busy. YEAH, ALMOST 100%, Xin hasn't been on in a while, Demi <3 Mabinogi, and Slash has work. As for Graeter, I haven't spoken to him either.

By "busy" I can fill you in on that: I'm currently living in the great deutschland, and about furkin time. Internet is basically everywhere but I don't have the means or time to surf-- only email of course. Just shifted my priorities, focusing more on other things, you know, the boring schtuff.

Another thing, is recruiting of new, fresh members would really benefit growth and activity of the clan is something I'd like to press. Especially to keep the clan alive and have cool events like these I think it's somewhat important. It's like having a baby. It's our future! Unless..we don't want any kids LOL. XDDD And I do understand that we're all close and such. But most of us are "busy" and what's left of those who can still play? BURK MAI OPINION DOESN"T MATTER I DONT EVEN PLAY ANYMOREBLAH BLAH. D'x
